Von Miller May Have A Suffered A Significant Knee Injury
By Allen Kim
Denver Broncos LB Von Miller suffered a knee injury against the Houston Texans, and he was immediately ruled out for the rest of the game.
Miller was injured on the second defensive series of the game, and while he was able to walk off the field under his own power, it was clear that he was in some serious pain. He’s set to undergo further tests on his knee tomorrow, and the team will get a better idea of what his recovery timetable is.
If Miller tore a ligament in his knee, the Broncos will have to move forward without him as they make their playoff push.
Miller was suspended for the first six games of the season for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy, and he’s had a disappointing season in the nine games he has played in this year. He has only recorded five sacks this year, and it’s a significant fall off from the 30 sacks he registered in the first 31 games of his career.
