Week 6 NFL Predictions

Oct 08, 2013 11:54 PM EST

New York Giants at Chicago Bears (Thursday)

Giants (0-5) at Bears (3-2)

Opening spread: Bears -7

The Bears hold a 32-21-2 advantage in this series against the Giants. The Giants have won the last two games and they have won the last four games played in Chicago. The two teams have split the last 12 matchups dating back to 1986. The Giants have not scored more than 21 points in the last five games against the Bears. Five of the last seven games were decided by seven points or less. — Jerry Tapp

The Bears lost another starting defensive tackle this week, but lucky for them the Giants come to town with their zero wins. The G-men won't have an answer for Marshall, Forte, or the up and coming Alshon Jeffery while Eli Manning will have a rough time trying to keep the ball away from Chicago's D. — Josh Grossman

The Giants defense leaks points like a sieve, they turn the ball over almost as often as they score touchdowns, and there really isn't any positive facet of the team right now. The Bears will have no problem bottling up their offense, creating turnovers and scoring points on them practically at will. — Allen Kim

What is going on with the Giants this year? Absolutely dismal. This will be a gift for Chicago after keeping it close with New Orleans. — Danny Webster
