Winston vs. Boyd. Advantange ...
By Joe Coughlin
Saturday not only pits two of the best teams in the country, but two of the top players, with Florida State's Jameis Winston facing off with Clemson's Tajh Boyd.
Prolific numbers from both have led their teams to unbeaten records, but it's Winston's 73.2 completion percentage (averaging 11.7 yards a throw) that stands out. The freshman hasn't been rattled, but also hasn't faced a Top-50 defense.
Boyd has proven he can make every throw on the field and good decisions, whether that's with his arm or legs, while winning games over Georgia and Top-40 pass defenses in Wake Forest and N.C. State.
It's youth vs. experience Saturday, the biggest game of Winston's young career. Don't expect the youngster to be fazed.
