Bio

Zach Brown is a linebacker for the Tennessee Titans. He played college football the University of North Carolina and was drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

EARLY YEARS

Brown was born on October 23, 1989 in Beaufort, South Carolina. As a senior at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia, Maryland, Brown was an All-Howard County selection after rushing for 1,537 yards and 20 TDs. He also registered over 90 tackles as an outside linebacker.

Before going to college, Brown went to Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia. After one season there, Brown was regarded as a four-star recruit and one of the nation’s Top-10 linebacker recruits.

UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA

Brown made six starts as a sophomore and recorded 47 tackles and one interception. As a junior, he was named a special teams captain and recorded the second-most tackles on the team (72) to go along with three interceptions.

As a senior, Brown was eighth in the ACC with 105 total tackles. He was also sixth in the conference with three interceptions.

TENNESSEE TITANS

Brown was drafted by the Titans in the second round (52nd-overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft.

In his first two seasons, Brown has played in all 32 games (27 starts) and registered 183 tackles, 9.5 sacks, and four interceptions, two of which he returned for TDs.
