Zach Zwinak

Zach Zwinak is a running back for the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions of the Big Ten Conference. He is a 2014 pre-season All-Big Ten fourth team selection by Phil Steele.

High School

Zwinak attended Linganore High School in Maryland. The second-ranked fullback in the nation coming out of high school, Zwinak played in the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He ran for more than 2,000 yards as a senior and tallied 25 touchdowns.


While redshirting at Penn State in 2010 he tore his anterior cruciate ligament during an October practice. Zwinak saw limited action in 2011, playing in only two games. He rushed for six yards against Eastern Michigan and also had a carry against Indiana State.
