Rentistas vs. Liverpool

Rentistas with a shocker last weekend when they defeated River Plate. Liverpool also with a suprise last week when they defeated Nacional 2-1. Eduardo Favaro has to make two obligated substitutions because Agustin Pena and Gonzalo Freitas have been suspended. Replacing them are Andres Ravecca and Jonathan Barboza.

Last week there were many surprises and Wanderers was one of them when they defeated Danubio. As for Miramar, they lost 5-0 to Penarol. Pandiani will get to make his debut against Wanderers. Along with Pandiani there are other five lineup changes in an effort to win and keep Miramar in the first division.

Sud America vs. Penarol

Last weekend, Penarol had a great match, defeating Miramar 5-0. Penarol is determined to continue this winning streak in order to be able to go into “El Clasico” in the best form. Tito has to make an obligated change with goalkeeper Castillo, as he has been called up for the national team. Lerda will be replacing him and throughout the tournament Lerda has been getting minutes and performing well so the change is not expected to be a problem. For Sud America this will be there return to the Estadio Centenario as they have not played there for 17 years.

El Tanque will likely substitute Felipe Rodriguez for the Argentine, Juan Ignacio Maracarie. Cerro might also have to make an obligated change as the Apertura top goal scorer Acuna has been having some muscular discomfort. They will assess him on Saturday and if Acuna continues to have discomfort Julio Aguilar will replace him.

Saralegui resigned as the coach of Juventud, Jorge Giordano has been selected to replace him and will make his debut this weekend. The new coach has already made some changes, first with the return of Martin Gongora in net. Then Dorrego will not start and Brain De Barros will take his place. Also Jaime Baez will replace the Brazilian Marco Antonio.

Danubio had the opportunity to lead the table last week when Nacional was defeated but Danubio did not take the advantage. Once again, Danubio are given the opportunity to take the lead of the table since Defensor defeated Nacional 5-3. Fenix are obligated to make to lineup changes. Gonzalo Papa is suspended and Andres Schettino will replace him. Leoandro Melazzi will not be able to play because of a clause in his contract since he is on loan from Danubio and Nicolas Royon will replace him.
