We’re halfway through the season and it’s time to take stock.

Here’s Football.com’s Premier League All-Star team for the first half of the season as we head into 2018.

You may agree with our staff picks – you may not!

Send us your teams and why you picked them….

1. David de Gea (Manchester United)

The best keeper in the world right now. Hands down.

2. Kyle Walker (Manchester City)

The big question mark over Walker was his crossing and distribution. A few months with Pep Guardiola has sorted that out and he’s looking like the bargain buy of the season.

3. Antonio Valencia (Manchester United)

Reliable, strong, fast and a leader in the dressing room. Can you name anyone better?

4. Nicolas Otamendi (Manchester City)

Looks like a different player this season. Defending and moving forward with purpose and skill. Who’d have thought it?

5. Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham Hotspur)

His absence the last few games has been strongly felt. Spurs need to get him a new contract – and fast.

6. Paul Pogba (Manchester United)

Back with a vengeance. Sometimes, he’s playing a different game to everyone else on the park. Unfortunately, not all his United colleagues can keep up.

7. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

Big occasions call for cool heads #playice @nikefootball #magista

Player of the season so far. Not just in the Premier League either.

8. N’Golo Kante (Chelsea)

Look how Chelsea fared when he was injured. Perhaps the most influential player in the league in terms of winning and losing.

9. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

Keeping a cool head takes practice ❄❄❄ #playice @nikefootball #hypervenom

He shoots and he scores. What more can you ask of a top striker?

10. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Chelsea must be kicking themselves. Skillful, resourceful and intelligent. Oh, and he scores goals, too.

11. Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Having fun, a few skills for you to enjoy!! #cfc

Hasn’t quite hit his stride yet: you sense there’s still much more to come in 2018 – but he’s still way ahead of most strikers in the league.
