The summary began with Austria striking first on 20' when Romano Schmid finished, set up by Xaver Schlager, to make it 1-0. Austria carried that advantage into the interval, but Jordan hit back quickly after the restart: Ali Olwan levelled on 49', with Noor Alrawabdeh providing the assist.
