Egersunds took control in the first half and never let Moss settle. Oscar Forsmo Kapskarmo opened the scoring after 22 minutes with Phillip Hovland providing the assist, then struck again just after the half-hour mark, this time from Scott Vatne's pass. That gave the hosts a 2-0 lead at the break and set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Moss tried to change the flow after the restart, but their afternoon stayed difficult. Kristian Fredrik Aasen Strande was booked in the 49th minute, and the visitors turned to the bench with Julian Laegreid introduced on 56 minutes and Patrik Andersen added later. Egersunds also shuffled their attack, with Sammi Davis and Jan Inge Lynum sent on just after 68 minutes.
The decisive third goal arrived in the 70th minute when Scott Vatne found the net, assisted by Lynum, to put the highlights beyond doubt. Kapskarmo picked up a yellow card shortly before that, but it did little to change the story of the match. The latest stats leave Egersunds seventh in the table on 23 points after 16 games, while Moss remain 12th on 17 points.
