The first half was short on clear-cut highlights, though Sandnes Ulf picked up the first notable action when zifarlino Nsoni was booked on 30 minutes. The game then came to life after the restart.
Bryne broke through on 55 minutes when Scriven finished from Gaye's assist to make it 1-0 and put the home side in control. Sandnes responded quickly with changes, introducing Sundberg before Andreas Rosendal Nyhagen went into the book just before the hour.
Bryne also turned to the bench, sending on Jacob Haahr for Kristian Skurve Haland in the 65th minute, but Sandnes kept pushing. Patrick Andre Wik was shown a yellow card for the home side on 68 minutes as the visitors built pressure.
A cluster of away substitutions followed in the 71st and 72nd minutes, and one of those changes paid off almost immediately. De Lanlay, on as a substitute, levelled at 73 minutes with Sundberg providing the assist to bring the score back to 1-1.
Late Bryne changes saw Scriven and Duarte Miguel Ramos Moreira withdrawn in the 86th minute, but neither side could force a winner. The final summary was a hard-fought draw, with the stats and result underlining how finely balanced the contest proved.
