Djurgardens IF were in front inside five minutes when Fallenius found the net, setting the tempo for a first half that never settled. BK Hacken responded after a pair of bookings - Mikkel Rygaard was shown yellow first, then Miro Tehno followed him into the book - and the equaliser arrived in the 29th minute when Lindberg converted from Svanback's assist. That parity did not last long. Max Larsson set up Lien, who put the visitors back ahead before the interval.
The second half kept moving. Jacob Une was cautioned before Djurgardens IF made their first change, sending on Jeppe Okkels for Fallenius. Lien then added his second in the 73rd minute to make it 3-1 and give the away side breathing room. BK Hacken threatened another twist when substitute Sadiku, on for Rygaard, scored in the 83rd minute. But the next big moment went Djurgardens IF's way as another substitute, Zugelj, struck two minutes later to settle the result at 4-2. Mikael Marques was then sent off in the 90th minute, a late flashpoint that altered the closing stats but not the final outcome.
