Jeonbuk landed the first big blow on 29 minutes when Kim Jin-gyu finished from Lee Dong-Jun's assist. There was a brief wait before VAR confirmed the goal at 34', and Ulsan's frustration deepened just before the break when a review ended with no penalty at 45'. That first-half sequence set the tone for the summary, with the visitors taking their chance and the hosts left chasing the game.
The second half brought more decisive moments. Lee Seung-woo replaced Kim Seung-sub at 45'29", collected a yellow card at 47'34", and then doubled the lead at 59'36" after Kim Tae hyeon provided the assist. Ulsan tried to change the flow with Marcao introduced early in the half, followed by Jang Si young, Lee Heui-kyun and Thomas Oude Kotte, while Darijan Bojanic also went into the book.
Jeonbuk kept reshaping their side too, and substitute Kim Ye-geon made his impact count with the third goal at 78'06". Ulsan briefly thought they had a route back when a home goal was cancelled after another VAR check at 85'20", but Yago Cariello still pulled one back at 88'13". In the end, the score, result, highlights and key stats all pointed the same way - Jeonbuk were clinical when it mattered.
