That caution matters. Deadline-week transfer pricing often moves quickly, but the clearest market signal here is not the reported fee. It is Eustaquio’s situation at Porto. He reportedly played only a minute across the opening stretch of the new season after spending the second half of last term on loan at LAFC. For a 29-year-old established international, that points to a player who may be available if terms can be aligned.
Swansea’s midfield search has been consistent through the window. Reports have linked the club with Andre Almeida, while Ousseynou Fall Seck was also considered, so the profile is clear: Matos wants another central option with control and maturity.
Eustaquio fits that brief. The Canada captain has long been a regular at international level, and the report says he scored against South Africa earlier this summer as Canada reached the last 16.
