Lamari’s involvement began inside the family. A report says she helped guide Mbappé’s contract decisions from his formative years, including the negotiations that took him from Monaco to PSG and later shaped his departure for Real Madrid.
Her approach has placed her directly in some of football’s most important conversations. Rather than operating only as a behind-the-scenes adviser, she reportedly became a principal negotiator, helping define both the financial and sporting terms of Mbappé’s career.
Lamari’s influence became especially visible during the dispute between Mbappé and PSG in 2024. The report says the disagreement centred on unpaid salaries and bonuses reportedly worth about $86 million.
That dispute later moved beyond transfer politics. The report says a French labour tribunal ruled in December 2025 that PSG should pay Mbappé more than $69 million, or approximately €60 million. Given the single-source nature of that claim, the ruling and figures should be treated cautiously, but the episode underlines how player representation can extend into formal legal battles.
Lamari launched the Fayza Lamari Agency in 2022, creating a formal structure around her work. The agency reportedly represented Rayan Cherki before their relationship ended, showing ambitions beyond managing one superstar client.
Her business interests also reach club ownership. A family investment company is reported to have taken a majority stake in SM Caen, adding institutional influence to her role as an agent. Her former husband, Wilfrid Mbappé, remains involved in the family’s football operations, while their son Ethan is also pursuing a professional career.
The next chapter will test whether Lamari can turn that family platform into a broader football enterprise while continuing to manage the demands surrounding Mbappé at Real Madrid.
