Gates are scheduled to open at 6pm, two hours before the 8pm kick-off in the World Cup last 32. Fans must register in advance for a free ticket and should have the confirmation email ready for scanning.
The report says supporters can enter through two gates:
Printing the ticket before travelling is also advised, while early arrival could help supporters avoid queues and delays at the entrances.
Security screening and metal detectors are expected at both entry points. Clear handbags are permitted but will be searched, adding another reason for fans to travel light.
Organisers reportedly allow sealed, shop-bought water bottles and empty reusable bottles. Water-filling stations are expected to be available inside the park.
Several familiar matchday items will not be allowed:
Food is reportedly not being sold inside Campus Martius Park, although food trucks are expected to operate nearby in Cadillac Square. Drinks should be available within the venue, with restrooms also open for guests.
The event forms part of the World Football Celebration and is being staged in partnership with the Downtown Detroit Partnership and Detroit City FC, according to the report.
The immediate test will be whether the two-hour window between gate opening and kick-off is enough to manage demand. Supporters attending the United States-Bosnia and Herzegovina fixture should arrive early, keep their ticket accessible and check their belongings before setting off.
