The report says Natick led 3-1 with little more than 10 minutes remaining, after Zoey Carlisle scored twice in a rapid burst. Kerrington Sheriff had earlier brought Natick level, while goalkeeper Gabby Aronov reportedly kept Hopkinton out during a scoreless first half.
Yet the contest swung decisively in the closing stages. Hopkinton scored three times in less than five minutes, turning a match that appeared to be slipping away into a memorable comeback.
Natalie Prisco was central to the revival, reportedly scoring twice and assisting another goal. She reduced the deficit with a free-kick before later striking the winner after receiving a pass from Eva Lacoche.
Riley Colleran also played a major role, scoring twice. Her first came after a Prisco cross, while her second reportedly arrived after Lilly Clarke’s corner to make it 3-3.
That attacking response will frustrate Natick, but it also underlines how fine the margins were. One more defensive clearance or calmer spell of possession might have changed the ending.
Despite the result, Carlisle’s performance gave Natick a clear attacking outlet. Trubiano praised the forward, saying: “Ela sabe fazer gols, passar, lê muito bem o jogo e se encaixou muito bem no grupo”.
The challenge now is turning individual moments into a dependable collective performance. Natick created opportunities and built a three-goal spell, but could not protect its advantage when Hopkinton raised the pressure.
The update says Natick is due to return to action Tuesday in Weymouth. That fixture offers an immediate chance to respond-and to show whether Trubiano’s call for greater unity can become the foundation of a stronger run.
