The Tampa Bay Buccaneers compete in the NFC South division of the NFL.The Buccaneers were founded in 1974, and in 1979, became the first post-AFL-NFL merger expansion team to win a division championship, playoff game, and host a conference championship game. Legendary figures of the Buccaneers include Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks, Ronde Barber, and Lee Roy Selmon.

The Buccaneers have made 10 playoff appearances in franchise history, winning six division championships, one conference championship, and one Super Bowl. The Buccaneers’ home field is the Raymond James Stadium, and the team is owned by the Glazer family. The current general manager is Jason Licht, and the head coach is Bruce Arians.
