M&S England Sticker Albums Reportedly Sell Out

Packs available, albums missing

M&S’s promotion offers a free pack of four Panini stickers with every £20 spent in its food halls, while the official album costs £3. The collection features England men’s and women’s players, managers, training images and special stickers ahead of the World Cup.

Britton said she had collected 13 packets but could not find an album in Cornwall. “Really disappointed,” she said, adding that a customer service adviser had told her no more books were coming and would not be reprinted.

That has created an awkward imbalance: the promotion continues to encourage collecting, but the item that gives the collection its purpose is reportedly no longer available.

A promotion caught by its own success

M&S says demand exceeded expectations, even after it ordered larger stocks following the popularity of its UEFA EURO 2024 sticker album. A spokesperson said customers were “loving collecting and swapping” and confirmed that sticker packs remained widely available with qualifying purchases.

For shoppers, however, that reassurance only goes so far. Some families appear to have made extra trips specifically to collect stickers, while store displays continued to promote a campaign whose album supply had run out. Britton questioned why the promotion had been pushed so heavily if customers could not complete the experience.

What happens now?

With no restock planned, families may have to rely on swaps with friends, relatives and fellow fans. That preserves part of the traditional sticker-album ritual, but it cannot solve the basic problem for those still without a book.

The next test for M&S will be whether the campaign can retain goodwill as the World Cup approaches-or whether an England collection remembered for fan excitement becomes better known for its missing album.
