Tre Fiori made the brighter start and took the lead inside 11 minutes when Mengucci finished the opening goal after Prandelli's assist. Larne hit back before the half-hour mark, with Ridley scoring at 24'28'' from Ronan Doherty's setup to leave it 1-1 at the break.
The second half turned on discipline as the away side's card count mounted. Tom Syku was booked early after the restart, Conor McKendry went into the book for Larne, and Rea was then dismissed on 62'18'' after a yellow-red card. Nico Manara also picked up a caution as the pressure built.
Bent converted the decisive penalty at 68'48'' to put Larne ahead for the first time. The home side then freshened things up with Jordan McEneff and Kevin O'Hara among the changes, while Tre Fiori introduced Giulio Ponticelli and Mohamed Ben Kacem.
The late highlights brought more trouble for the visitors. Tommaso Leon Bernardi was booked on 89 minutes and then sent off at 90, leaving Tre Fiori with nine men. Larne also had a late goal cancelled, but the final stats, score and summary still told the same story - a 2-1 home win.
