House of GOAL Plans Free 2026 World Cup Festival

A supporter hub beyond the stadium

The festival will reportedly feature live World Cup screenings across three large screens, giving fans a shared setting for the tournament’s biggest moments. Weekday programming is expected to run from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., while weekend events could continue into the early hours.

Entry is expected to be free with registration, although the nighttime programme will reportedly include ticketed and premium experiences. That mix could help House of GOAL appeal to both casual visitors and supporters looking for a more curated matchday atmosphere.

Football meets New York culture

The organisers’ pitch is deliberately broad. A football film programme, live DJ sets, comedy shows and fashion collaborations are expected to sit alongside interactive experiences from EA Sports FC.

The planned MetLife Community Field will add a grassroots dimension, with youth clinics, summer camps, small-sided games and open play. A reported Urbanball USA Tour final on July 5 would give the festival a competitive centrepiece beyond the World Cup fixtures.

House of Yes owner Ilan Telmont has been described as viewing the project as a combination of music, performance and community - a natural fit for a city where football culture continues to expand.

The challenge of delivering scale

The ambition is clear, but a festival built around a global tournament must manage crowds, match schedules and competing entertainment demands. The free-entry model could drive significant interest, while the paid evening events may determine whether the wider programme can sustain momentum.

The next storyline will be whether House of GOAL can convert early interest into a genuine supporter destination when the World Cup arrives in New York and the surrounding region.
