The report lists Flint Powers Catholic at the top despite one defeat and three draws from 13 matches. Notre Dame Prep and Elk Rapids also rank ahead of Tawas, while Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian and Detroit Country Day complete the teams above them.
Those records show why Tawas’ perfect start has not automatically translated into a leading ranking. Division 3 contains several contenders with substantial schedules and strong results, leaving little margin for movement.
The reported leaders in the other divisions are less difficult to identify, with each topping its section without a defeat.
Troy lead Ann Arbor Pioneer, whose 12-1 record places them second in Division 1. Okemos are third at 8-1-2, while Division 2 also includes unbeaten Grosse Pointe North and Holland among the leading teams.
In Division 4, Western Michigan Christian sit second at 10-1-2, while Saugatuck remain unbeaten in eighth after eight wins and two draws.
The next update will reveal whether Tawas’ unbeaten run can finally deliver a rise in Division 3. Results against the teams surrounding them will carry particular weight, while Troy, St. Joseph and University Liggett will try to protect their places at the top.
