The report says the first half ended goalless before Hellgate struck twice shortly after the interval:
Scoring from every recorded attempt gave Hellgate the decisive edge. Glacier had eight attempts to Hellgate’s three, but quantity did not translate into control of the scoreboard.
Brecken Evenson reportedly pulled one back in the 57th minute, with Liam Swank supplying the assist. Oliver Poitra then scored in the 78th minute after Kyler Hardman created the chance.
The hosts’ pressure was also reflected in the corner count, with Glacier credited with four and Hellgate with seven. Goalkeepers Jack Young and Hellgate’s goalkeeper were each reported to have made two saves, underlining how much of the contest was shaped by finishing rather than sustained goalkeeping resistance.
The report says Hellgate ended the match with 10 players after a red card. That made the closing stages more difficult and gave Glacier an opportunity to chase an equaliser, but the hosts could not complete the comeback.
With 19 fouls recorded and both sides receiving a yellow card, the match appears to have been a physical test as well as a finishing contest. Hellgate’s ability to protect the lead despite the late dismissal was central to the reported outcome.
The next fixture will show whether Hellgate can repeat that efficiency, while Glacier’s priority will be turning territorial pressure and higher shot volume into more goals.
