Bailey Schoenfeldt Breaks Gloucester Girls' Soccer Record

A record built on speed

The report says Schoenfeldt made an immediate impact in soccer, scoring 16 goals during her first year at the school before developing into one of South Jersey’s leading attackers.

Her greatest weapon is reportedly acceleration. Gorman described her by saying, “Ela tem velocidade de elite. É a atleta mais rápida que já treinei”, while also praising the energy that allows her to influence matches from the first whistle to the last.

That profile has made Schoenfeldt more than a record-breaker. She appears to be the kind of player who changes the tempo of every game she enters.

Three sports, one engine

Soccer is just one part of her athletic workload. In softball, Schoenfeldt reportedly plays center field and enjoyed an outstanding spring, including a.583 batting average and 48 stolen bases. The report says she was selected to the state team after helping Gloucester reach the Group 2 final.

Megan Mason, her softball coach, called her “Ela está sempre pronta para um desafio e é uma competidora absoluta”. Mason also praised Schoenfeldt’s instincts, describing her as “talentosa” with an impressive understanding of the game.

During the winter, Schoenfeldt also helped Gloucester’s basketball team win state titles in 2024 and 2025.

College softball in sight

The next decision is reportedly becoming clearer. Schoenfeldt has not chosen a university but is speaking with several softball programmes and intends to continue in the sport at college level.

Her motivation is straightforward: “Minha maior motivação é que eu realmente amo praticar esportes”, she said. That competitive drive may ultimately prove as valuable as her speed.

The next storyline will be whether Schoenfeldt carries that rare blend of pace, intelligence and enthusiasm into college softball. For now, Gloucester has a new soccer record-holder-and one of its most versatile athletes yet.
