Ryan Giggs is trying to convince his injury-prone star Gareth Bale to ditch his sport cars to drive a Range Rover to prolong his career at the top.
The Wales manager was strongly advised as a player to stick with one car to save his hamstrings and went on to play at the top level until he was 40.
The car advice came after the Manchester United legend banned his players from the golf course while on international duty.
Giggs spoke publicly of the benefits of using just one car – with the same seat and model rather than use any of the other motors in his expensive collection.
Despite his successes in Spain, Bale has endured an injury-stricken time since his £85million world record move to Real Madrid in 2013.
